Prof. Dr. Ahmet ATAÇ - Manisa Celal Bayar University, Türkiye

Ahmet Ataç was born on 25 August 1971. After his primary and secondary education, he graduated from Çukurova University, Department of Physics. In 1996, he completed his master's degree in Physics. Ahmet Ataç, who completed his PhD in Physics / Atomic Molecular Physics at Gazi University in 2002, served as the Rector of Manisa Celal Bayar University between 2019-2023.

Prof. Dr. Cemil ÖZTÜRK - President of EPDAD, Türkiye

He graduated from Marmara University Atatürk Faculty of Education, Department of Social Sciences Education in 1985. In 1991, he received his PhD degree with his thesis titled Teacher Training Policy and Teacher Training Institutions in Atatürk's Era. He became a Research Assistant at the same Faculty in 1988, Associate Professor in 1996 and Professor in 2001. He made scientific publications in the fields of History of the Republic of Turkey, History of Education, History Education and Social Studies Education; he authored a total of 118 works, 13 of which were books. He gave undergraduate and graduate courses. He supervised 35 doctoral theses and 80 master's theses. His works received a total of 4,564 citations (21.09.2023). He has carried out important studies for the institutionalisation and sustainability of some scientific activities. Some of these are as follows: Founding chairmanship of the Council of Deans of Faculties of Education (EFDEK); founding chairmanship and chairmanship of the Board of Directors of the Association for Evaluation and Accreditation of Teacher Education Programmes (EPDAD) (2014-2021); founding chairmanship and honorary chairmanship of the Association of Social Studies Educators (SBEB); founder, editor-in-chief and co-editor of the International Journal of Social Studies Education Research; many administrative duties including deanship at Marmara University; member of the YÖK Teacher Training Working Group; evaluator of the Higher Education Quality Board. He received awards for these studies.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tamar Dolidze - Batumi State Maritime University, Georgia

Dr. Tamar Dolidze is an Associate Professor of Batumi State Maritime Academy (Georgia), Faculty of Business and Communication. Since 2020 she has been elected as an Associate Professor of the Online University – Pegaso International Group (based in Malta) with a subject: Communications and Language Philosophy. Dr. Tamari Dolidze has also been a guest lecturer/visiting professor (Legal English and Business Communications) at foreign universities, participant of Erasmus Teaching Mobility Program; She is a reviewer of the International Journal of Linguistics, Language and Culture and organizational committee member of Eurasian Multidisciplinary Forum (ESI); A member of the Editorial team of the International Journal of Knowledge and Learning (IJKL) and International Journal of Digital Humanities (Scopus Indexed). Prof. Dr. Muhammad Abbas, University of Sargodha, Pakistan

Dr. Muhammad Abbas is a Chairperson/Professor of Mathematics at University of Sargodha, Pakistan. He received his Bachelor and Master of Science degrees from University of the Punjab, Lahore, Pakistan, in 2001 and 2003, respectively. He started his career as a Lecturer at University of Sargodha, Sargodha, Pakistan, in 2005 and taught a variety of courses of Applied Mathematics at undergraduate and graduate level. In 2012, he received his Ph.D. degree in Computer Aided Geometric Design from School of Mathematical Sciences, Universiti Sains Malaysia, Penang, Malaysia, where he also completed his Post-Doctorate fellowship in 2014. His research interest includes the development of the shape-preserving scientific data visualization schemes, geometric modeling and numerical solution techniques for PDEs, ODEs, FPDEs and FODEs using B-spline functions. Dr. Abbas has published many research papers in peer-reviewed impact factor journals and international conferences, in his area of research. Also, he has supervised more than ten Ph.D. and forty MPhil Theses in his area of research.

Dr. Ajay Kumar - Patna women's college (Autonomous) Patna University, India

Dr. Ajay Kumar is currently an  Assistant Professor in  Department of Mathematics, Patna Women’s College (Autonomous) Patna University Patna, Bihar-800001, India. He has published more than 22 articles in various reputed and leading journals being SCI and SCI-E. His research interests include ordinary and partial differential equations, analytical methods for linear and nonlinear differential equations, mathematical physics, numerical solutions of the partial differential equations, fractional differential equations (of course ordinary and partial) and computer programmings such as Mathematica,  Matlab and Maple. He is an active reviewer of a few journals. He has supervised several  undergraduate students.

Dr. Pundikala Veeresha, Department of Mathematics, CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Bengaluru, India is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics, CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Bengaluru. He completed his master’s degree from Davangere University, Davangere, and his Ph. D. from Karnatak University, Dharwad. His areas of research interest include Fractional Calculus, Mathematical Modelling, Numerical and Analytical Methods, and Mathematical Physics. Prof.Dr. D.G.Prakasha, Davangere University, India

Prakasha D. G. is a Professor of Mathematics at Davangere University, India. He obtained his Ph. D., degree in Mathematics from Kuvempu University during the year 2008 on the topic “Certain Structures on Manifolds”. His area of research specialization includes Differential geometry, Fractional calculus, Computational fluid dynamics and Graph theory. He has published more than 110 research articles in Scopus indexed journals. Under his able guidance 10 students got Ph. D. degree in Mathematics. Presently, he is serving as a Director of Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation Board of Davangere University  along with teaching and research activities. 

Prof. Dr. Metin Boşnak, İstanbul Sabahattin Zaim Üniversitesi, Türkiye

Metin Boşnak (born 1965) is Turkish professor of  Bosniak  origin. His academic publications include contributions to the fields of American culture and literature and comparative literature and cinematography.  Metin Boşnak has a BA in TEFL from College of Education, Ondokuz Mayıs University, Samsun, Turkey. As a Fulbright scholar, he completed his M.A. in Comparative Literature at Indiana University, Bloomington, Indiana, in 1990. On return to Turkey, he pursued a PhD in American studies at Hacettepe University, Ankara, which was completed in 1996. Dr. Boşnak published a collection of poetry in English and Turkish in 1987, Behind My Shadow. Since then he has been publishing scholarly articles on various aspects of Comparative Literature and American Studies. He presented numerous papers at home and abroad, co-edited two academic periodicals: Kızılırmak (1992), and Academia (1995). Dr. Boşnak set up, and has chaired the Department of American Studies at Fatih University (September 2000-August 2007). Earlier he set up and chaired the Department of English Language and Literature at Fatih University (September 1997-January 2006). He also chaired the Department of Foreign Languages at Fatih University (February 1998-July 1999). As a visiting professor, he taught in English Department, St. Louis Community College (STLCC-Meramec Campus), Missouri (Fall 2007-Spring 2008). Upon returning home, he taught in the English Department, Girne American University (2008-2009). Boşnak taught at Saint Louis Community College in 2009–2010. He has professional affiliations with MLA, ACLA, ICLA, ASA and MCCA. Currently, he teaches in the English Department of Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University after seven years of work at the International University of Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. He is the author of a collection of poetry, Behind My Shadow (1987)(Gölgemin Arkasında), McDevlet, McDarbeler (2017), McStates, Democracy, McCoups (2021), Archetypal and Feminist Approaches to American Literature (2021), T.S. Eliot’s Poetics of Politics (2021) and Poetics of Love (Aşkın Poetikası) (2023).

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gülşah Batdal Karaduman, İstanbul University - Cerrahpaşa, Türkiye

Assoc. Prof. Gülşah Batdal Karaduman; completed her undergraduate studies at Hasan Ali Yücel Faculty of Education, Department of Elementary Teacher Education and Elementary Mathematics Teaching, of Istanbul University. She finished her master's degree at the Department of Elementary Teacher Training at Istanbul University Education Institute. She completed her doctoral studies (Ph.D.) at the Department of Gifted Education of the same university. The topics of her theses were mathematics education, differentiation, creativity, spatial ability. She has presented papers at various international and national conferences on elementary education, mathematics teaching, creativity, special education, gifted and talented students, high-level thinking skills and has written books, chapters, articles for national and international publications, she took part in various projects. She was a visiting professor at the Department of Mathematics Education in the School of Education at the University of Wyoming from 2021-2022. She attended various courses and presented seminars about Teaching Mathematics with Creative Techniques at University of Wyoming. She was a visiting professor in the Department of Educational Psychology in the School of Education at Baylor University. She is an associate professor at Istanbul University-Cerrahpasa.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Alev Komsuoğlu Elçi, Higher Education Professional Development Network, Türkiye

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Alev Elçi is managing director of YÖMEGA, the Higher Education Professional Development Network in Türkiye. She has 20 years of academic and 15 years of industry working experience. Her primary research areas include faculty development, digital teaching and learning, technology-enhanced learning, social networks, learning communities, animation and game-based-learning, internationalization, and narrative approaches. Prof. Dr. Yasemin KIRKGÖZ, Çukurova University, Türkiye

Yasemin Kırkgöz is a professor in the Foreign Languages Department at the University of Çukurova, Turkey. Her main research interests include EAP/ESP, foreign language policy, curriculum development, teacher education, and English-medium instruction in higher education. She has published articles in various international journals including Teaching and Teacher Education, Educational Policy, Teaching in Higher Education and Current Issues in Language Planning, and book chapters in leading publishing houses. Her co-edited books Key Issues in English for Specific Purposes in Higher Education, and English as the Medium of Instruction in Turkish Higher Education: Policy, Practice and Progress were published by Springer.

Prof. Dr. Kadriye Dilek BACANAK, Gazi University, Türkiye

After completing her primary, secondary and high school education in Konya, he completed his undergraduate and graduate education at Selçuk University, Department of English Language and Literature. After working as a lecturer in the same department for a while, he transferred to Gazi University Gazi Faculty of Education to do his doctoral studies and completed his doctorate in the field of English Language Education in the Department of Foreign Languages. In 2015, he received the title of associate professor in the same field and professor in 2020. Since 2010, he has been working as a lecturer at Gazi University. He has worked as a project manager and academic consultant in institutions such as the Ministry of National Education, the European Union and Tübitak. He has written national and international articles, books and presented papers in various conferences on English culture and literature, linguistics, sociolinguistics, discourse decoding, foreign language vocabulary education.

Prof. Dr. Gonca Yangın EKŞİ, Gazi University, Türkiye

Gonca Yangın Ekşi is a Professor in English Language Teaching (ELT) in the Department of Foreign Language Education, Gazi University where she teaches several undergraduate and graduate courses and supervises MA and PhD dissertations. She received her MA in ELT in Hacettepe University, Department of ELT and she holds her PhD in ELT in Gazi University. She has worked in a number of projects including the national project for the development of the national English curriculum for Primary and Secondary schools. She managed an Erasmus KA2 Project with distinguished universities in Turkey and abroad. She has published various research articles nationally and internationally focusing on teaching and learning English as a foreign language. Her research interests include computer-assisted language learning, pre- and inservice teacher education, curriculum and materials development, teaching skills and language components, young learners, use of corpus in language teaching. She is the editor of ELT Research Journal.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ceylan Yangın Ersanlı holds an MA degree in English language teaching (ELT) from Ondokuz Mayıs University and a Ph.D. degree in ELT from Gazi University. Currently affiliated with Ondokuz Mayıs University as a faculty member in the ELT department, Dr. Yangın Ersanlı has established expertise in teaching English to young learners, Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL), and the integration of technology in language instruction. With a strong academic background and a passion for innovative language teaching methodologies, Dr. Yangın Ersanlı actively contributes to research and development in ELT for students of all ages.

Sehnaz Baltaci serves as a professor at the Department of Computer Education and Instructional Technologies within the Faculty of Education at Bursa Uludağ University. Her expertise lies in the domains of instructional technologies, web 2.0, and artificial intelligence technologies applied to teacher education. Dr. Baltaci actively participates in various European Union projects as well as national initiatives focused on the enhancement of teacher education.

Gülten Genç is an Associate Professor in the Department of Foreign Language Education at Inonu University, Malatya, Turkey. She received her Master’s and Doctorate degrees in Educational Sciences. She has been teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in Teacher Education and Foreign Language Teaching Methodology at İnönü University. Her research focuses mainly on professional development of foreign language teachers, language learners’ psychology and intercultural communication. 

Assist. Prof. Dr. Hidayet Tuncay, Nişantaşı University, Türkiye

Assist. Prof. Dr. Hidayet Tuncay graduated from Atatürk University, Department of English Language and Literature in 1979. Since 1983 he has worked as an officer and lecturer at the Military Academy and the Army Language School. He completed his master's degree in 1986 and his PhD. in 1993 at Gazi University (Ankara), Department of Applied Linguistics/English Language Education. In 1985 and 1989, he was sent to the U.S. Defense Language Institute (Texas/USA). At the rank of Army Major, after his retirement from the Army in 1999 he worked as an administrator and lecturer at various foundation universities such as Istanbul Kültür University (1999-2007), Istanbul Arel University (2007-2009) and Istanbul Aydın University (2009-2011), respectively working as Director of the School of Foreign Languages, as faculty Administrative Board and Senate Member. He wrote 21 books and 20 articles published in national and international refereed journals. Between 2012 and 2016, he served as a lecturer and the Secretary General at Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University. In 2017, he worked at Girne American University in TRNC and recently has been working as the Head of English Translation and Interpreting Department at Nişantaşı University since 2020.
