Prof. Dr. Cemil ÖZTÜRK - President of EPDAD, Türkiye He graduated from Marmara University Atatürk Faculty of Education, Department of Social Sciences Education in 1985. In 1991, he received his PhD degree with his thesis titled Teacher Training Policy and Teacher Training Institutions in Atatürk's Era. He became a Research Assistant at the same Faculty in 1988, Associate Professor in 1996 and Professor in 2001. He made scientific publications in the fields of History of the Republic of Turkey, History of Education, History Education and Social Studies Education; he authored a total of 118 works, 13 of which were books. He gave undergraduate and graduate courses. He supervised 35 doctoral theses and 80 master's theses. His works received a total of 4,564 citations (21.09.2023). He has carried out important studies for the institutionalisation and sustainability of some scientific activities. Some of these are as follows: Founding chairmanship of the Council of Deans of Faculties of Education (EFDEK); founding chairmanship and chairmanship of the Board of Directors of the Association for Evaluation and Accreditation of Teacher Education Programmes (EPDAD) (2014-2021); founding chairmanship and honorary chairmanship of the Association of Social Studies Educators (SBEB); founder, editor-in-chief and co-editor of the International Journal of Social Studies Education Research; many administrative duties including deanship at Marmara University; member of the YÖK Teacher Training Working Group; evaluator of the Higher Education Quality Board. He received awards for these studies. |

Prof. Dr. Muhammad Abbas, University of Sargodha, Pakistan Dr. Muhammad Abbas is a Chairperson/Professor of Mathematics at University of Sargodha, Pakistan. He received his Bachelor and Master of Science degrees from University of the Punjab, Lahore, Pakistan, in 2001 and 2003, respectively. He started his career as a Lecturer at University of Sargodha, Sargodha, Pakistan, in 2005 and taught a variety of courses of Applied Mathematics at undergraduate and graduate level. In 2012, he received his Ph.D. degree in Computer Aided Geometric Design from School of Mathematical Sciences, Universiti Sains Malaysia, Penang, Malaysia, where he also completed his Post-Doctorate fellowship in 2014. His research interest includes the development of the shape-preserving scientific data visualization schemes, geometric modeling and numerical solution techniques for PDEs, ODEs, FPDEs and FODEs using B-spline functions. Dr. Abbas has published many research papers in peer-reviewed impact factor journals and international conferences, in his area of research. Also, he has supervised more than ten Ph.D. and forty MPhil Theses in his area of research. |

Prof. Dr. Metin Boşnak, İstanbul Sabahattin Zaim Üniversitesi, Türkiye Metin Boşnak (born 1965) is Turkish professor of Bosniak origin. His academic publications include contributions to the fields of American culture and literature and comparative literature and cinematography. Metin Boşnak has a BA in TEFL from College of Education, Ondokuz Mayıs University, Samsun, Turkey. As a Fulbright scholar, he completed his M.A. in Comparative Literature at Indiana University, Bloomington, Indiana, in 1990. On return to Turkey, he pursued a PhD in American studies at Hacettepe University, Ankara, which was completed in 1996. Dr. Boşnak published a collection of poetry in English and Turkish in 1987, Behind My Shadow. Since then he has been publishing scholarly articles on various aspects of Comparative Literature and American Studies. He presented numerous papers at home and abroad, co-edited two academic periodicals: Kızılırmak (1992), and Academia (1995). Dr. Boşnak set up, and has chaired the Department of American Studies at Fatih University (September 2000-August 2007). Earlier he set up and chaired the Department of English Language and Literature at Fatih University (September 1997-January 2006). He also chaired the Department of Foreign Languages at Fatih University (February 1998-July 1999). As a visiting professor, he taught in English Department, St. Louis Community College (STLCC-Meramec Campus), Missouri (Fall 2007-Spring 2008). Upon returning home, he taught in the English Department, Girne American University (2008-2009). Boşnak taught at Saint Louis Community College in 2009–2010. He has professional affiliations with MLA, ACLA, ICLA, ASA and MCCA. Currently, he teaches in the English Department of Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University after seven years of work at the International University of Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. He is the author of a collection of poetry, Behind My Shadow (1987)(Gölgemin Arkasında), McDevlet, McDarbeler (2017), McStates, Democracy, McCoups (2021), Archetypal and Feminist Approaches to American Literature (2021), T.S. Eliot’s Poetics of Politics (2021) and Poetics of Love (Aşkın Poetikası) (2023). |

Prof. Gülşah Batdal Karaduman; completed her undergraduate studies at Hasan Ali Yücel Faculty of Education, Department of Elementary Teacher Education and Elementary Mathematics Teaching, of Istanbul University. She was a visiting professor at the Department of Mathematics Education in the School of Education at the University of Wyoming from 2021-2022. She attended various courses and presented seminars about Teaching Mathematics with Creative Techniques at University of Wyoming. She was a visiting professor in the Department of Educational Psychology in the School of Education at Baylor University. She is an associate professor at Istanbul University-Cerrahpasa. |

In 2015, he received the title of associate professor in the same field and professor in 2020. Since 2010, he has been working as a lecturer at Gazi University. Assist. Prof. Dr. Hidayet Tuncay, Nişantaşı University, Türkiye Assist. Prof. Dr. Hidayet Tuncay graduated from Atatürk University, Department of English Language and Literature in 1979. Since 1983 he has worked as an officer and lecturer at the Military Academy and the Army Language School. He completed his master's degree in 1986 and his PhD. in 1993 at Gazi University (Ankara), Department of Applied Linguistics/English Language Education. In 1985 and 1989, he was sent to the U.S. Defense Language Institute (Texas/USA). At the rank of Army Major, after his retirement from the Army in 1999 he worked as an administrator and lecturer at various foundation universities such as Istanbul Kültür University (1999-2007), Istanbul Arel University (2007-2009) and Istanbul Aydın University (2009-2011), respectively working as Director of the School of Foreign Languages, as faculty Administrative Board and Senate Member. He wrote 21 books and 20 articles published in national and international refereed journals. Between 2012 and 2016, he served as a lecturer and the Secretary General at Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University. In 2017, he worked at Girne American University in TRNC and recently has been working as the Head of English Translation and Interpreting Department at Nişantaşı University since 2020. |
